Where did I last stopped at?

I believed that when I had last blogged, I was still working in Fairmont WillowstreamSpa. I'm glad I got to work there, it really opened my eyes to so many things around me. Someone was right.

All this while, I led a really sheltered life, believing that the world was full of goodness, sans bitchiness, with loving parents, boyfriend and caring friends. I think I must have done alot of good deeds in the past to have such a blessed life today. Peeps, in case you do not know where am I and what I've been busy with now, I am now in NIE, as a trainee teacher slogging her guts out everyday to compete against deadlines of assignments, quizzes and exams. I must say that the stress level in the Spa and NIE are equal, but in a different way. Being back in school never felt so good, especially when you can moan about assignments, bitch about tutors, having friends with the same hobbies, philosophies, mannerisms(well, almost the same la) to chat and go out with. I never felt that way in the spa. In fact, I felt sort of detached from the whole company. Might be due to age gap la. or it might be due to them, the complicated and complex human beings, competeing against each other, smiling behind daggers, the sort of tiring rivalry that I had enough of. I wouldnt know if this would repeat itself when I get out of here to teach, but at least, Im enjoying some peace in here. Jiayou!

Ok, less sombre matters. This month, I shopped like money is free. =X

I feel so guilty la. My additional from the government: all $200 of it, gone. Next month must control my spending already la!!!! Sharing some loots that I had bought this month. I'm the happiest when I go shopping, especially ONLINE shopping! VS never fails to disappoint.WHEEE.

The month of December flashed by all too quickly. To think that I had problems recalling waht I did on Xmas which was just a week ago.=X Hmm, yeap, went to celebrate with tml and jefflan and friends in settlers cafe. I must say that its really quite fun!=) The more memorable ones were Charades.my fav game.heehee. Also played this funny contact game where we had to balance tiny balls with our fingers, connected to e fingers of the other players.

Theres this other game which was also really quite interesting. Test reaction. Images of hand-finger images in different postures were flashed and we had to manipulate our fingers to e exact same position shown on e card. Slowest one takes the card. The one with the most cards in e end is e loser. As usual, I was slowww.=( Brain reflexes not quick enough, man4 san1 pai1.Hai shi tml gou pen you, took half of the cardies from me!=P

Sometimes, I really wish I was cleverer..have quicker reaction to stimulus from my surroundings, more witty, more confident..less slowww, less blur, talk faster,react faster to jokes etc etc..! =( I really hate this aspect of myself though my cousin once told me tt that without all tis ting-dongs, i wouldnt be unique.PUI. haha. But to be honest, no one likes to be slow eh. Its just another way of consoling me. hatehatehatehate it. Since sec sch to the 23yrs Ive lived, ive always been what ive hated. To be honest, most of the times, i felt really inferior to my friends. why. cos reaction slowest. take longer time to understand stuff. am terrible in math. jokes that sent my friends into giggles would only result in a big "HUH" from me, which is where the source of post laughter came from!!! and I dont think fish helps. =( People say witty stuff to create entertainment, me? My reaction itself is a source of entertainment for my friends.=(

So...my 1st new year resolution of 2008: To find sources of stimulus that would make my brain react faster to situations!! one of the therapist told me tt gingko nut is good for memory, and so are blueberries. And ive bought cod liver oil during the robinson sale to grow my pea brain. Shall finish one bottle to see whether it works anot. PLS WAKE UP GIRL. slaps face* haha.

2nd resolution. To try and find peace within myself. Have been feeling so unsettled by everything in year 2007... its like what i thought would work out turned out otherwise and i have not been able to find a definite solution to my dilemma . I chose to "run away" from the problem, flitted here and there, trying to fit myself into many other different stuffs..and bury myself with an entirely diff field of work instead. Vunerable. Dunno where Im heading too. Sleepness nights sometimes. Moodswings that I hoped had not hurt my family as I dont meant it. Sorrie..Im really scared that after 23 more years, i would still be groping my way around, still unable to work towards success. not meaning a successful high flying career. So...in year 2008, I want to end my insecurity, want to find the strength that would carry me through..want mannnny pillar of supports..(greedy) be it just an ordinary life with an ordinary job, i just want to be at peace with myself.

3rd resolution. To lighten up. I was on duty during one of the days in december before xmas. Theres this Mr Frederick Horn whos a frequent guest of the hotel tt im working for. Hes an interesting person.=D At 1.92-5m tall, he towers over most of the people. Loves to cut his fringe almost every other day at the salon. Mind you, its 20-30 bucks for a fringe cut at our salon okay. And he does manicures and pedis too. Faints! A nice guy who likes to joke with the front desk people. During his 2nd stay, think I was into my 7th hr of duty that day, shagged and grumpy faced. He cracked a joke, but I think I frowned without me realising and he told me" Hey, relax, i was just kidding u know." And while i was getting some scrubs for him from the retail shop, he commented" hey, you are quite a serious person arent you? relax, life is too short to be serious/nervous..blah blah while speaking of his other spa experiences he had in Germany or something like that. " I think at that moment, I felt the barrier of guest and employee melting away momentarily. It was really amazing what a few words could do to change the atmosphere/ relationship between 2 people. I think tis is one of the fewwww satisfactions that I get from my job at the spa. I think that I'm actually starting to improve ald. The tennis coach commented that I looked really fierce when I dont smile. I dont mean how I looked if u know what I mean. Im just not the girl with sunshine smile. I mean no harm.=)

Flip thru my record books in pri and sec sch and u will see that in the 6 yrs and 4 yrs of pri and sec sch, quiet and reserved are the two words tt you will never fail to see in the comments field.

Me, the kind of person who likes to celebrate birthdays. Not in the big scale cocktail, clubbing kind of party.0_o but rather in the company of a few shou dao bu neng shou de hao jie meis. The circumstances in which we come to know each other were kind of strange. okay. maybe with e exception of my dear cousin. Yunru is the friend of tml, whom Jing got to know thru tml. and I got to know yunru and tml thru Jing. They are all secondary schoolmates. while i was connected to them thru Jing.=)

Tml, and Jing, plus me went back a long way. We knew each other when we were just in primary school. haha. Still remembered the times when we played monster in Jing's old flat. We switched off the lights in the room. Ah San was the monster and imagine the glee and fun we had back then, to think of it, i could still remember that I was actually feeling scared in that silly game!! Why would us kids be scared of our dear ah san?? Damn amused by the thought of it. Though we dont really go to school together, or go out for movies together, we would still occasionally go out for ktv sessions and jap sushi. hahas. after all these years! our ktv history goes a long way back. when we were in sec one/two. still remember tml choosing that hei shan lao yao! omy goodness.=D Me and Jing were too amused to even say anything and laughed ourselves silly while tml was oblivious to our giggles, enjoying that hei shan lao yao song. rotf. heh. This strange kind of r/s between us 3 survived till today. Wont ever feel awkward, even after not meeting for like months.=)

Miss Yunru is another one who I can really feel at ease with. Not really shopping or movie khakis, but we could really relate or tune in to each other, be it r/s stuff, relationships between people, the philosophical stuffs u know that I would seldom talk to other people about lest they view me as a freak or too serious a person u know. She does wonders for my inner peace.=)

I am really glad to be having them as company for my birthday la. We went to ellenborough market cafe for dinner buffet and had a great time chatting, talking non-sense... with tml around, sure will be lively de.=D Wasnt really tt fantastic as raved by the bloggers. But with a 5o% disc, it was worth it.=) The worth mentioning food items were the sashimi, black pepper crayfish, steamed fish, durian mousse pudding, topshells and the DIY kueh pietee! Choco fondue fountain was a disappointment though. there wasnt any strawberries and the chocolate was abit too bitter and watery for my liking. There was quite a variety of desserts though. Breadpudding, cheesecakes, moussecakes, cookies, local desserts like burbur hitam, peanut cream and sweet potato with fungus soup, apple pie etc. And my dearest uncle from amritaspas got me a estee lauder perfume!! Pleasures Delight. Really v gan dong can. Only knew him for 4 months and he dotes on me.=P Love u uncle!! Will really miss him if i decide to quit. Tts my only pressie eh. But strangely, I really do not mind at all. Not tt I would mind receiving presents la. HINT.

What matters is that these 3 devils actually make an effort to celebrate for me and people like uncle care! =) Sniffs* Nina and piggy and candy sent me bdae wishes too. and i forgot to mention, I got my earliest birthday wish at 12.23am! Thanks mister!! Happy gal*

AH!!!!!!!! Today is my suay day. You know I always run up the bridge, 2 steps at a time de. But today, dunno why..i was happily hopping up the steps, 2 at a time. But my lousy feet failed me and during the last 2 steps of the 1st segment of the bridge, my right feet failed to reach the height of the full 2 steps and instead of my right foot landing safely on the 2nd step, my big toe hit the edge of the step and i kind of thrust out my left knee to stop myself from falling flat on my face!! Now my left knee got one humongous big orh cheh again!! Luckily no one saw and i marvel at myself for being able to pick myself up without a word and still run!! towards my bustop cos i was ..late. hah. Its damn painful can, knee was throbbing and when i descend the steps at the other end, i could feel my left knee joint bruising real bad. but no tears came to my eyes. Wonder why i didn't howl like when i was a kid. Are grown ups supposed to be like that.I kind of envy kids being able to howl and cry when things go wrg for them. even the simplest of stuff. Like falling down and hurting ur knee. The feeling of being able to release ur emotions whenever u feel like it must have been very good.

When i reached workplace. The 1st sentence tt greeted me was " Lixuan, help me close cash." I was indignant OK. "Excuse me, but why must I close the cash for you?" U close urself la. Later go turn down urself. I might not have cash to close later on also wat. What makes u take things for granted that I will close it for you? Im not a pushover like you think. If u provoke me , i will roar. So i asked " Why don't u close it urself?" And was met with a " I don't want to close." @&^@^#&$! I was seriously fuming when i heard tt okay. So I replied " I don't want to close it either." Please lor. U dont want to close, what makes u think tt i will close it for u?? Even if its reasonable tt I prob would receive cash later on during my shift but I HATE PEOPLE WHO TAKE ME FOR GRANTED AND I DONT LIKE TO BE BULLIED. If it was me, i probably would close it myself unless one person had already closed cash, only then i would pass to him/her. PUI. Same for change of shifts. Its the same ^&$^%$^ person again. No. I wont chg my precious weekend morn shifts with you. U want to go out. I know. But what makes u think that I wont want to go out?? Have missed out on so many movies and my movie marathon was postponed for weeks ald. =( PUIPUIPUIPUIPUI. I will learn to work smart and not leave any mistakes for you or anyone to pinpoint on. SO im gonna...work on my everyday oso late for work de mao2 bing4! HMPHHHH. I dont wanna be bulliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeed. Do i look like a weakling??? I want to be tall and fierce looking. You know today i was gg down to turn down my cash. I meet this steward in the lift. "Are you from the SPA?" "Uhuh." "Student ah?" "Eh..nope. gro in there" "Eh..u nvr do msg?" "...+_+''" then i quickly walk out of the lift. Crazy guy. Tell me how. I want to be fierce looking and tall and intimidate people!!!!!!!! WAILS******** DRAMA*

One happy thing other than all the suay stuffs. My OPI polishes finally arrived! they are really goorgeous can. Even before applying, im already thinking abt a 2nd spree le.=X Any one who wants OPI, please email me. Im gonna collect orders, mummy jeanne wants, jennifer from nail suite wants to order too. yippee. Its 10.50 per bottle, half the price of whats being sold in SG. Coolness! I want my malaga wine! =P Okay. Heres some pics to let u peeps drool! I have used Siberian nights on my toes. Its a lovely creamy dark purple. U rock alpulco red on my hands with a touch of nail stickers. The color was quite different from tt of the webby. Its more towards pink red rather than pure red. argh. but nevertheless. PRETTY! hee.

(stephy's) Wine and Dine me, Kangarooby, You rock apulco red, siberian nights, make love(not in pic) all mine!!, xiaochen's midnight in moscow--a lovely dark shimmery brown. and shawn's Boris and Natasha(not in pic), i like shawn's color. Its a lovely matte purple plum. Gonna try out hers after i pass it to her.

And application's a breeze. One coat is all it takes to have a really smooth and non streaky color. Thats my nails in u rock apulco red with nail sticker from skinfood. really lovely.

Pardon my ugly toes. i must say, i really heart my siberian nights!! though it takes two coats to have a non streaky color. The color is a really lovely broody dark purple. and it looks great with purple and orange flower stickers!

My offday last week was spent making cheesecakes. mini ones in paper muffin cups. YuM. The entire setup. I have eggs and philedephia cheese cake with honey in that creamy mixture. And digestive biscuits with butter in the other bowl as the cake base.

Biscuit base. Spent a long time crumbling the biscuits and mxing it with a lump of butter. This does look promising hor??=D

Ready to go into the oven. I couldn help but dip my fingers into the creamy cheese mixture to lick it all off.=XX =P

This is my half eaten cheesecake.This one's with raspberry jam. Its so good tt i polished off 2 of them after my dinner. But i prob would add more lime juice to my cheese mixture as i find it not sour enough.

And..for the final pic to end off my entry. as usual, a narcissist pic of me!=) I have went for a free makeup lesson conducted my THE MAkeupStore in Marina Square cos i subscribed to CLEO for a year and this was my subscription gift. The makeup artist gave me lots of useful tips on eyelash application and i bought a contouring blush from her after witnessing the amazing slimming effect it has on my chubby cheeks! Heres my conturing skills tts imparted from her to me! haha.

My chin's sharper cos i have contoured my cheeks using the shade "nut" from the makeupstore's blush collection. I shaded the side of my nose too, all the way to the bridge. And dusted the bridge of my nose with this integration highlighter tts supposedly used to birghten up ur eye area. My nose was noticeably more 3d after these steps. U peeps shld try! Must be careful not to make the gradation too obvious though. if not u will end up looking like a wayang opera singer. which i did, several times. Have also added fake lashies from FaceShop. I bought the normal, non criss cross ones. simpler and gives the dolly wide eyed effect. It really makes ur eyes look barbie dolled. More focused and defined, though it cant be seen in this pic. You must draw a thick line though with ur eyeliner, so tt the base strip of the fake lashies can camouflage into the think line. If not, it would look weird if u paste it without drawing liner, i always see people without liner having 2 lash lines: the fake lash ones and the real lash. Really weird looking.=X My favourite liner is from Bobbi Brown! the black ink one, in gel foreem. My colleague commented tt i look like barbie doll with the fake lashes. haha. I do wish i had time to put them on everyday, but i would rather laze in bed longer than to spend five additional mins to paste my lashies.

Went for the catwalk today at MOS. Had a really crappy day at work which i dont want to talk about it right now.=( spoilt my mood for the whole day! argh. The atmosphere at MOS was really cool, with people from PA surrounding the stage, did not really expect such close contact with the auddience. had a shock when i got there. Barely made it in time cos i ended work late and had forgotten to take my heels from the pantry, so had to go up to the spa again. And suay suay, i was caught by our manager for wearing home clothes to the front counter! argh. Left eyelid was twitching since morning and i found it real distracting!! esp when i make eye contact when i talk to guests. Haiya. the rooster was screwed. How can they put one sngle person in the front desk with a group of 16-18 pple chking in at the same time while they go for their meeting?? ridiculous. I dont care if this sort of pressure makes me more efficient or something. The stress level was not a fun thing. =(

okok,bk to MOS catwalk! Anyway, i took a cab from raffles the plaza, and i nearly had a heartattack when the uncle told me he dunno whr is MOS!! Ahhh. how can dunno de! I oso dunno how to go..suaku. and i was freaking late. it was ard 3.25 when i boarded the cab and the show was starting at 3.45pm. Was supposed to reach there by 11am de but i cant. Hai. Stress myself only!! Wasnt in the best of moods, hunger was gnawing at my stomach as i skipped lunch due to me being the only one at the counter! PUI. left my canned tuna and apples uneaten at the spa. I was sort of disorientated as i switched from situation to situation if u get what i mean. Desmond was waiting for me by the taxi stand when i arrived. Was whisked off immediately to squeeze into my cheena gown, and the skirt as usual, was too long, had to fold several inches up! Was sooo kanchiong and immediately after chging, the show started and i haven even got myself into the mood to do the walk. Hai. Anyway, was quite nervous, but i did my best to pose and smile, hope it wasnt too forced or smthing. Ha. someone waved at me during my walk, but i cant see if tts someone i know anot. haa. Nearly tripped over my skirt when my heels got caught in one of the inner petticoats when we did the finale! Ahhh. and i was like wrestling with my heels under the thick skirt, doubt anyone can see what i was doing anyways.=D Din take much phots as everything was too rushed. Haiz. shall upload pics next! =)

Homemadebaked seaweed chicken. 3 kinds of marinates: 1st one: soy sauce with sesame oil and sugar. 2nd one: pure honey 3rd one : breadcrumbs with parmesan and cheddar. I think the 1st one tastes the nicest. =)

Im back! finally. heee. Am so craving for movie marathon right now. Its been ages since i watched one. Think the last one tt i caught was Ratatouille. Hmm. Nothing much to update though. Had been busy with work, and its quite draining cos i would always have no mood to go shopping or do exciting things after work. And had been less timess to cali fitness then b4.oh no. im wasting money.

Oyah. I was supposed to go for a hairshow at st james powerstaation de. But my daddy answered the phone and forgot to tell me that monsoon called!! argh. and its too late to call bk and ask because the hairshow was the day after my dad remembered and told me.=( Boo. Cant make it as they need me to go down to cuthair b4 gg for the show. Dunno if its a gd or bad thing. haha. i can imagine my colleagues and boss flipping if i show up with spiky hair or green colored hair. hee. So instead of hairshow, i got an email from the passioncard roadshow guy askingif i want to take part in PA's catwalk anot. The venue's at MOS 26th Oct.

I went for the rehearsal. And i got this chinese cheongsam like gown, its tube cutting for the top with a v v v v long flowy skirt. Im short cannn. And i was like tripping over the skirt everytime i try to walk. And i din know tt i was supposed to wear heels for catwalk rehearsals de. so end up everyone wear 3-5 inch heels and i was the only one in my lousy worn myphosis slippers! theres also this thick belt tt i was supposed to wear. to define my waist. But instead of defining, the belt was too huge and the height of it was like covering my top waist and hips instead of only the waist if u get what i mean. cry. costume too huge for me. And the guy commented tt he will get the belt changed for me. ha ha. I shld be one of the shortest there. sadded. I spotted some really nice costumes, like the cute korean hanbok, a retro bumble bee like disco pants and top outfit and a indianish sunset skirt and sari costume.

Anyway, i finally got my vital statistics measurements!! The seamtress measured for me. =) Im 32, 24 35. And i put in my msn nick e qns"Whats e measuremnts for the ideal figure?' but no one replied me eh. who knows?? i was asking nina and she directed me to wikipedia. ha ha. funny girl. everythingi ask her oso say go wiki find.=_+ and wiki says tt european men pprefers women with waist and hip ratio of ard 0.7 while asian men prefer ration of waist hip 0.6 , african pple 0.9. omg, 0.9 eh. the butt must be super big and wide.=P ok, back to the scenario. I saw some of my passioncard roadshow colleagues there! Was so glad to find familiar faces.=) I was really v nervous during the rehearsal..cos its my first time walking. and i see alot of girls walking like pros, v got sey can! Anyway, i think tt im not one of e worst.=) Cos some of them were giggling while walking. aiyoh. must be professional at work mah. the cheographer seems quite annoyed with one of the gigglers. ha ha. Quite malu ating for me, cos i was wearing tube dress. and my bra was with straps, but luckily i chged to transparent ones tt day, if not i would really look half dressed! The safety pins tt were used to secure my too loose tube were not tight enuff and it kept slipping down while i was walking. my straps were slipping down my shoulders too..and when i stop to pose for 4 seconds as requested by the choreographer, my straps fell off!! And i quickly pull it back up with like 20 pple watching in the front, the PA staff, and the videotape was on! ahhhhh. faint.

I really was unsure of what i looked like on stage, whether i was not smiling enuff or whether was i slouching or walking too fast anot. Theres this girl who had one the so called emperor costume, really v elegant and nice!! ha. no long skirt to trip over with.=( Y cant i wear smthing liddat!!! The lady cheographer was v encouraging though. Everyone walk she also say good. ha.= )) We ended at ard 9 pkus 10pm! v late can. and its at kallang. took a cab back with one of the girls. It was a really good experience though. Am looking forward to the actual event. heh. Yup, tts abt it. Was supposed to go parkway de, but i put plane simply cos i was too tired. Hee. sorrie.=) Im gg to Missclarity cafe with nina, ac and piggy tomorrow!! Can't wait. Think they are really tired of my constant buggings to go to this cafe with me. heh. http://www.missclaritycafe.com/ but the food is really good wat. and its nett price k. Mussels, scallops and pastas, here i come!!!!

truly understand the meaning of off days today. Slept till noon and woke up smiling like a chesire cat. dunno how to speell. u know, the cat from Alice the wonderland? slept an average of 5 hrs during e previous week. work eat sleep surf and the cycle repeats again. It isn't a bad thing actually. time passes by quickly when u are working and its been one and a half months since ive started work in the spa. Now i truly understand the meaning of politics (i think) in e office. Never been complicated when i was in other fields of work previously and ive grown to appreciate family, old friends more and more.=) Hmm, watched alot of tv, korean, taiwanese, jap drama. Most of them being sappy love stories. Dun think tt such fairytales exist. U see ah. the guy knew tt the girl hates his guts and was only putting a front up to take revenge for something he did to her previously. yet he plays along with her and willingly lets her do so, rather be covered by lies cos he fell in love with her eventually. Its damn touching can. The poor guy. out of how many guys does such a guy exist? one in a million? was typing without the lights on at ard 8pm today and i found tt i can actually type wthout looking at the keyboard! Pretty amazing can. I dunno why i can do that. can u? Want a dog pretty badly these days. Dunno y. Want a companion who loves/communicates/cuddles u unconditionally, no pretence, stripped quoted by christina aguilera's stripped. I want a hush puppie eh. i want. the ears are sooo adorable. been gorging myself on sweet potatoes(addicted to it for 3 days le) and mooncakes and have gained 1.5 kg since. I do look better, thanks to the constant feeding at amritaspas by my mummy and uncle. haha.=)) East ocean ones are great. the bing pi ones, especially the lotus one with yolk. raffles the plaza baileys choc snowskin oso v nice. gonna drga myself to the gym tmr le. not been there for a whole week, wait i get fatfat again.=(

Worked 7 days since my last rest day and finally its my off day again today. I was so thankful for this off day tt i cancelled a violin lesson with one of my students and slept away most of the day. Yesterday was dinner and dance. Thought tt it would be fun butdisappointingly, the games stall and glamourshot studio was closed by the time me and steph made our way there. I want to play roulettee and take glamour shot. i wannnnt.the casino theme was evident in the decoration of the ballroom, with laser light decorations flashing in the entrance, neon colored tiny lightbulbs lining the stage and red carpets covering the floors. Quite nicee. But i felt tt the programmes of the event were quite pathetic, lacking in entertainment value..the mc was trying his best tocreate the ambience and atmosphere, but other than the jokes and lucky draws, there wasnt any other programmes that interest me eh. Okay..the food was not bad though. haha. There was oysters and scallops!! satays, lamp chop was not bad too. And i love their mini durian tarts and bread and butter custard. People were busy eating when the bosses of swissotel and raffles the plazawere making their thankyou speeches. Me included. Steph laughed at me when i so readily agreed to go takke more satays in the midst of the speeches.I was bored cann. I wore my wetseal pink tube tt day. It was freaking cold in there, luckily i brought my jackket along. Mei xiang dao that my tube and skinnies was considered quite dressed up ald. I saw pple in jeans and tee shirts. =)

Work was quite okay. I have to admit that time pretty much flies when u are working in the spa. Especially when u have a million of things to do besides checking in guests for treatments and gym. Lets say..if u answer a phone call for a reservation, it would take maybe like 10mins for u to talk to her/him and book the appt in e syystem? So if 3 calls come in, half and hour would have gone past, and u also have to attend to guests coming up to the front desk to chheck in for their appointments. Not only spa users, there are gym people as well as people playing tennis. Pretty much saw some cute guys too. ha ha!=P Saw more people than i ever did in my 22+ years of life, came across impatient pple, nice people, rude people, snobby people, weird people, shy people. Example of impatient guest: was attending to this indian guest. And he wanted a sports massage asap. So with him tapping his feet impatiently, i booked the appt, but the system was slow and while frantically trying to get the appt into the timetable so tt i could check in this guy and get him to pay, i saw his face get blacker.shitted. So my dear mummy came to my rescue and asked him how would he like to make payment. He was pretty much offended and a "of cos i could afford to pay , its just tt u snailey people are making me wait!" look flashed across his face. Pui. System slow mah..hang wat. So what could we do ? Smile apologetically lor.and he wanted to make payment later..but the com miracoeusly recovered and the mastercard receipt popped out of the payment machine. He sprinted off even b4 he took the locker key needed for him to change into his robe and slippers for the massage. Was quite a frustrating moment and at e same time comical to me. My mother said to me,"Girl, all kinds of people exist in this world. Just take it with a pinch of salt and do ur work, no need to get too affected in these kinda situations. Its work, just deal wif it professionally. " Shes wise indeed! Easy to say hard to do eh..but im getting better already. Just dont let people bully!! I hood anyone who bullies me! haha. Talking nonsense already. Wheres my forever21 red dress..and asos dress. Drat the sprees. Forever so slow. Im going to sleep soon. Off tomorrow to the battlefield. I need to watch moviess, go singing and catch up with friends. im out of touch with the world since i started work.

Hey peeps, me back. haha. So lazy to update since i started working. Am on 5am-1pm shift today and tmr, so im heading bk to work actually in 5 hrs time.=)

Updates of my mediocre life...nothing musch actually. I went kayaking with a fren on sat. Was on 5am-1pm shift tt day and after tat, went meetup and off we head to ecp. Was quite shagged but miraceously..miracleously, how do u spell that. argh, i managed to drag myself to kayaak. ha. Bought two pair of boxers in isetan. I love wearing boxers, so airy and comfy.=))

My last kayak trip before tis was last year, and this was my third time kayaking, pretty much enjoyed the breeze and sun!! Im v poor thing can. No matter how hard i try to paddle, the kayak doesn seem to move!! took quite a few turns of oaring to move the kayak when my ahem.. partner decides to not oar, choosing to smirk at my mediocre arm strength instead. Puuii. Anyway, luckily he was there la. ha. Saves me much energy! and i'll prob paddle nearnear to the shoreline and not like wat we did: travel farfar away from the shore. Something really embarrassing happened after we reached shore. We decided to tilt the boat sideways to clear it of water. annnd. when i tried to lift the kayak, its weight dragged me down instead and down i went, face first piak into the front seat of the kayak, with my legs bent and folded up like a frog, feet pointing skywards. And boy does it hurt!! Face blue black, legs blue black and my fren was trying not to laugh when he asked if i was okay. Damn malu caaan. I too found it really funnny amidst the bruising and pain, was laughing and wincing at the same time. Haiya! Damn.

Went bathe and ate satay plus mee pok n sugar cane juice at a nearby food centre. Food does really taste good after exercising! Its really been ages since i felt so alive. Perhaps i shld do this more often.=) With much crapping and gibbering and nonsensing and philosophical-ing , we walked a loooong distance to parkway again. For more shopping. And soon, it was time to head home. i had a great time..=)

Work updates.

Hmm, its my 7th day at work le. Im now more used to the chim chim computer system that they use. And my skill of smiling whenever i spot a guest had improved tremendously. haha. So the next step's to smile and at the same time try to make conversation with the guests. Its quite hard for me to do that actually. If i help them check in, or explain details of the various kind of treatments like scrubs, body wraps, waxing, massages to them, i will appear to be serious. I cant like..smile and explain at e same time. So i hope to be able to multi task! Like what my "mummy Jeanne"(me attached to her for a month) says, being gso(guest service officer) is like being a octopus, i have ever seen her answering a call, and at e same time, pulling out sign-in form for a guest who wants to sign in for gym and alsoo at the same time, ppull out a locker key for another guest who wants a locker to put his stuff. Amazing eh? Hmm, the colleagues are really nice people who mothers me and come to my rescue whenever i get "stuck". I remembered tt there was once when a guest came up to the counter and asked" where are the toliets" Guess what i told her? "Sorrie mam, pls hold on while i check with my colleague" and right in front of the guest, i asked Sri" eh..where are e toliets are?" "In the spa, jacuzzi area lo" Dumb can! I know where e toliets are actually, its just that my brain could not find the correct piece of information at that time when the guest asked. I just blanked out. Another incident , there was a guest who wanted to know abt the closing hours of the spa and gym. Knowing well tt it closes at 11pm, i found myself saying"Oh, the gym closes at 1130pm" and before i could recify my error, he hung up. And my mummy was apparently v amused.=_+ "Y u know spa closes at 11pm u go tell guest close at 1130pm? I dunno why i did that!! Is there any scientific reason or explanation?? I have poor coordination maybe. ughhh. Been wearing false lashies to work lately. Much easier than mascara.=) and its prettier! and i got compliments from dear colleague steph.heeheeeee. Shall wear them to dnd too. Its coming up on the 22nd aug. My first dnd. So pretty excited over it.=)

Hmm, mind blank blank now de. Dunno what esle to write abt. Shall blog if anything esle comes to my mind then. Tata peeps!=)

V tired from orientation! The talks from the heads of depts like marketing, hr, security, f%b were all packed into the 2 and a half days. I was supposed to start work today but i have nt been assigned to a senior to undergo training yet. so i went home at abt 230 today.=) Tmr is national day. But i gotta work. Its my first ph tt im working. Argh. Anyway..i will blog abt the orientation again when i receive photos from my new colleague susan!Gonna miss them so..=) And while searching for food at rafflescity after work i spotted ah mei's new album in "the cd shop". Of cos i bought it. And i uploaded one of her songs tt i really like. And being narcissist. of cos i sang. Pls do not be put off by the fugly voice of mine. Its been ages since i recorded any singing and i do think i sound different, i sound older..jaded, like a true 23 yr old. Its on the right hand side. U have been warned..=)

Hope that this particular person is not reading my blog. or this particular entry. Im trying to put this part of my life away u know. Like lock it up and not brood over it anymore. But it seems hard to just think of the lovely memories.. why does the ugly side keep showing, im badly affected by it. I hope that i wont get hurt anymore and he should know better than to make such requests. I find it such an insensitive move. Its like..all the stuffs we share sudeenly just crumbles down and all that is left is ugly shards of glass. And everywhere u try to walk, u will get cut by it. Its not like me to be so "poetic" but i dont really wish to spell everything out..sigh. i need an outlet to rant. =(

Today was quite eventful, in the sense that i did quite alot of things, compared to the days when i just slept till noon, eat lunch, surf, nap, surf and eat, surf and sleep again at 3am. Woke up at 9am today cos i was to sign my letter of appointment for guest relations officer at amritaspas Raffles the Plaza, its actually in Raffles City itself. haha. I can imagine me gg to Donut Factory quite often for their double choc donut!! I 1st went to the PO at hougang mall to post out the items to spree-ers from my Victoria Secrets spree. I did something really bad..like trying on one of the tops that i was so tempted to buy but did not because of its price. Luckily, the top pales in comparison to its online pic, probably due to really good photography and lighting. and i folded it back into its transparent plastic bag.=X Bad!

Took the nel line to cityhall after that and i rushed to the hr dept to sign my letter.ha. Was reading thru the terms slowly. Asked Cheryl(hr manager) if i could "moonlight" on sat morns as i have been teaching roysth rascals for quite along time already, 2 yrs? She consulted my spa manager and conveyed to me that it could be arranged if i change shifts. yip! Quite alot of things to be done. I went down to the so called"fashion room"(laundry and seamtress room) for my uniform fitting. The uniform's okay, quite nurse-like, it consists of a cheongsam like top and a tapered tulip skirt, all in a very light brown/beige color. The auntie quite funny. She was like staring hard at my waist, and i stood there stupidly, looking at her when she suddenly said,"Girl, ni de yao wei ji chun?(wats ur waist size?) Of cos she cant see la. Cos i was wearing a babydoll top. haha. hide my waist de! Then she motioned for me to lift my top. I was abit hesitant. I shy eh. Thenthe next thing she said was"Girl, ur pants cannot wear hipster, hotel regulations all staff must wear waist kind de." I was thinking,"eh, i'll be in my nurse uniform during work mah, why would it matter?" Weird aunty. Even if i wear hipster my top will cover my hips/waist eh, pple can tell meh? haha. Cute. 8 was the smallest size tt she could find, it was abit loose on me especially at the ahem and oso at the waist. She was muttering to herself as ahe adjusted my uniform around my body, "girl, this is the smallest already, make do with it hor."=) I kind of like the aunties there, though they sound gruff and looked like the no-nonsense type of pple, but i can tell that they arent hypocritical(intuition of mine which is v accurate i must say). I wear shoe size 7 eh. My foot big right. Aunty was quite suprised and keep asking me if the shoes are loose anot, i told her that its okay, because of my duck feet.heh. My ezlink card fell out of my pants while i was in the changing room but being absentminded, i forgot to pick it up and i left. Luckily when i went back later, the card was still there, and aunty nagged good-naturedly. hahas. Went to raffles medical group for checkup. Everything was normal.=) Was supposed to set up dbs acct de. But stupid me forgot my nric. Sian. i have to go back to the raffles city branch to do up my acct again before mon. Popped by River Island again. The sale was irresistable. Fast becoming a fan of theirs. Got myself a nice knitted sleeveless top! Its sort of glittery and v v comfy. Slashed 45 bucks of its usual $89. And only 2 pieces were left and i couldnt believe it when one of it was the rare size 6!! Of cos i got it.hahas.

Looks way nicer in real life okay. =)

Went to cityhall control to pass my spree-er her grey skinnies. Her bf came instead. V cute guy.=P Though he was supposed to meet me at noon he called and asked if he could pop by later, and he didn sound apologetic in the phone at all though he did thank me after i went"...uh, then later when u coming down then u call me to see where am i lo". was quite pissed actually but i relented since he said tt he was gg to the doctor. After i met him in person, it gives me e impression that good-looking pple are generally more self-assured, confident and less pai-seh sort? Yup, i do think so eh. He did say thanks for e trouble and stuff but i din feel sincerity from his words. Wonder if u know what i mean.

Popped down to California Fitness-cine brannch and finally signed up as a member. The guy cheated me! At first, he was saying 89 per month , pay 3 mths upfront and reg fee 119. When i declined his "offer" saying tt i only want the free one month trial package, he offered me a supposedly "better" package of $58 per month with $98 reg fee plus a free water bottle. Chee. I happily signed up. It is a one year package. If i decide to terminate, it would be a penalty fee of $300 flat. I am pretty excited, more over the classes they offer, like Latino Jam!! Ballet, Hip Hop, mtv dance, body combat, boxercise rather than the gym itself. oops.=D I took my body analysis with a CF trainer called Ngiam. He is quite cute. tanned and he asked if i was attached. haha. I said no, and he quickly added in that hes just asking.=) I asked him" Are u?" And he said yes. and tt its a lady more mature than me. haha. Then his phone keep ringing all the while he took my body composition analysis. He explained tt it was his gf, just passed driving exam, and poor in parking, she called him to ask for help. haha! So sweet.=)

My body fat is in the acceptable range. =) 23%-25% is normal. Mine's 24.2%. My evaluation stated" Muscle type: Underweight but proportionate. Nutrition status" Muscle mass" is below normal, fat mass is in acceptable range, minerals in acceptable range too. And he was saying tt i need to gain 2 more kg of fats and 9 more kg of muscle?? Excuse me? 9+2 more kg means tt i will be like 52.2 which is super duper fat can?? I was like saying to him" No way man, last time when i was 49kg, if pple who remember me in my cartel days, i was like 48-9kg back then. Everyone was complaining tt i am fat lor. " My mom, grandma, relatives say i round round de. Even colleagues say tt im fat. I remember once when i was helping out at the cashier at MS cafe cartel, some crew from other branch was dining in ms cartel, when she made her order at the cashier counter, she was commenting in a rather loud and rude(i feel) voice" shes like a rounder version of Joanna", (whoever she meant). Damn hurtful can. I dont like to be called round or whatever.=_+ This trainer was smiling and he said" girls fleshier nicer to hug." Hmm. that sounds familiar. I remember hearing tt comment just a few days ago. haha. I was shaking my head vehemently and he sort of surrendered.hahas. Anyway, the flow of conversation was rather stiffled and i think the main reason is because he is the chinese speaking sort and i too would like to converse in mandarin. I suggested to him" eh..do u want to speak in chinese instead?" and i got him jokingly rebutting me, saying: "my english very poor ah?" and i evaded his question in a : no la, cos i feel more comfy speaking to you in chinese. =) smart girl right? And he went on :" Hmm, these stuff i dunno how to explain in chinese, i can only use english eh." I guess cali staffs are all only trained to promote their courses and products in english. haha. So inflexi. Later chinese aunty come want to sign up how. Im gg to the gym on friday to meet him as he is going to explain how i can use the machines to build up my arms and tone my thighs, butt. I wanna lift barbells! heh. and i want to join mtv dance after work on friday from 6:40 till 7:40pm. Anyone knows where to buy padlock? Cali provides the lockers but not the padlock. Very lousy.

Hmm..then called up my boss to confirm with him that i wont be free to teach 4 days at the music school le. Only able to teach on tuesday nights and sat morns. And i got an earful from him. hai. One month ago i already told him tt im gg to start working full-time soon. enough warning/notice liao mah..Not my fault tt he cant find another violin teacher right. No matter how unpleasant it is, i finally got it settled. I will still teach this thurs and fri, sat but when i start work next week, i would no longer be able to do so already.sigh. Anyway, my favourite students are mostly in the tuesday slot. so haha!=D

Went myphosis and spent again..this time on a pinafore like tunic, with black straps and black/white mod satin prints.

Its really nice. I was so happy from my shopping therapy that i skipped my usual junk food shopping and took mrt home from orchard.=) happy girl today! Pple..pls go join cali eh..i need gym khakis and dance khakissssss.

Taken with my new friend Yana, met her from the 1st emirates screening and we sort of stuck together for the 2nd round of screening last sat. Shes gonna get married soon and im invited to her wedding eh. =) Sad that we did not get in.=( But i wasn't suprised because...the ladies there were very mature( 26-28 i presume), some of them are ex cabin crew/ custoner service officers, and even managers.=) I had a great experience as the two emirates interviewers are so warm and friendly and i learnt alot too at the group discussion. Finally the roadshow came to an end. It has really been fun knowing the models and working in the roadshow. Though its boring at times, hahas, but in e process, i've expanded my tiny horizon and experienced new things!! Its my first time doing roadshow can. Im a suaku. Chanced upon this by chance. And i've got my first roadshow exp. =)) Can add to my non-existing but gg to there soon portfolio. hahas. Kind of exciting when u suddenly have a goal to work towards to. I want to join more roadshows and take a step into modelling. I want.=X Shall see how lo. Anyways, have met some really nice people, (i know i have repeated this many times) but ..yeap.= ) Got Grace who likes to dance!!! like me.=D and Joanna who clicks with mee, cos we both can speak chinese at ease and has many similiar opinions about stuffs and Madeleine who instantly puts u at ease when u talk to her. She has the calming effect. hahas.

Anyway, 3 of us were to do some makeup demo onstage today. The petite makeup artist did our m/u onstage. I poor thing can. I have to bare my face(got disgusting eyebags) and pull my hair up which is really revolting because i have high and bulging forehead.oh man. I was trying to relax on stage and not worry abt how my bulging forehead and eyebags are gonna look on tv, its recorded can, very stressful and i closed my eyes most of the time because i dunno how to react if i open them and see people staring at my face!! Damn stressfulll.I Admire the actresses and actorss. Anyway, i think i can line my eyes better than the m/u artist. The line was too far from my lash line and made me look auntie, and its blue auntie liner somemore. I really want to see how i look like on tv. Hope it doesnt scare me.=_++.

After tt, went to eat subway again. 3 times in a row. I tried steak and cheese, ham and subway club on hearty italian and wheat bread. I actually like the onion sauce the most. Dunno y people dislike onions. My fav can. The lady behind me sneak a glance at me when i requested for the auntie to put more onions in my subway. Weird meh. Onions rocks k. And Joanna always orders teriyaki chicken with mayo. V cute la. hahas. must try new stuffs the next time k. We go eat meatball marinina, dunno how to spellll. Ok, after tt, we went off to the gym. Its really nice and all..got me tempted to sign uup..but its freakinHmm, im too tired now, f ex and im poor, so im prob gonna jooin cali fitness!!! ahhh. cant wait to dance in the dance classes. hahas. Thanks Joanna for the neckie. Quite a fun day. heh. I rob should get out of the house more and work. Lead way too boring life for ages. Roadshows are hard work but fun as u never will know what might happen next. We got harrassed by irritating AIA agents!! walked the whole of raffles place when we were bored, in our lingling longlongs. The belly dancer outfit very noisy can. So irritating after awhile. The bells are everywhere. On my loooong till i trip over many times skirt, waist band, headgear. Luckily Joanna and me wore the same outfit. Ours the ugliset eh. Pple wear slim and elegant air stewardess lookalike uniform, korean hanbok, and nice thai outfits. We are the freaky belly dancers. Everywhere we go, people really look at us. Damn aa can. But we got a few compliments from the public. heh. The auntie came up from mrt escalator, commented "girl, so pretty eh!" haha. Cant blame them too as we really look like we came out of Arab! The photographers were everywhere too. Took many pictures of us posing and stuff. Hopefully can gain exposure and exp and I can get other roadshows to do soonnn. I saw soup spoon in the basement of raffles place. Should be gg there for lunch tmr. Cant wait. heh. Took looots of pics with Joanna. Finally found someone who is as narcissist as me. heh. Or even more than me eh.=D Oh, btw AC come find me! haha. i made her promise to buy lots of krispy kreme donuts bk from her hk trip. Peeps, want donuts call her quick! Hmm..just talked with the ex just now. Why is he making me mad with his sickening words. Jerk. Anyway, i had a great day today at the passionroadshow, made a friend among one of the models. Joanna, sweet and pretty girl, also from gals sch, maybe tts e reason we clicked.haha. My heels killed my feet and every step i took was a torture after about one hour of standing..so u can imagine when after work i walked through bugis street to bencoolen building and thru bugis street again to BJ to buy food and get into the dratted mrt. My poor feetttt. owww. We are supposed to meet earlier tmr to chg into our belly dance outfit. I cant wait to see the horrendous looking monster suit on me. Its ali baba pants can with headscarf, like arab women. and im short. The pants is long. and worse thing is..its in PURPLE!!! HOW. =(

Hope tt tmr will be a fun day!! Im gg sleep already. That ass is affecting me.=( Bye peeps!

Alot of stuff happened this week. Moved by so fast that im really frightened by the intensity and seriousness of it. Im sort of like at the crossroads once again u know in the last 2 months
till now. I want to have a goal again in life, a purpose that i can work to and have been moping around, feeling depressed, cos everyone seems to be working hard towards their goals and i felt like a lump of sh*t lazing around, teaching in the music school without seeing myself doing that in the future(v unpromising environment with all the snobby parents, spoilt kids who whine at the slightest things, and parents will in turn whine to the boss, who in turn will whine at me, the poor teacher aka slave of the music school), cooping myself up at home. And its at this very confusing, unhappy period of life that he chose to walk out. Of cos i cried, ached at the memories of the r/s..i still do when i walk past places, or see stuffs that reminds me of what we had shared. Im really disappointed that feelings can change so quickly..and my self-esteem too dipped real low. Am i not good enough? Am I that detestable? No discussions or whatsoever, one fine day, just BAM the news on me.Are feelings really that fickle as to simply change over a few months? What is love? I still cant get over it..i still miss him, theres this empty gap in my life tt he used to fill..the movies, the silly antics, the love tt we shared..whenever im alone i just feel like crying.

Okay...this tuesday, i went for this interview at swissotel for the position of guest relations officer at their amiritaspa. My friend is working there..and she, though tired seems to pretty enjoy her work, which i think shld be the way..and im pretty attracted by the environment..and..the manager seems pretty impressed by the interview as she told me tt for my age i sound very confident. I find it pretty weird because the recent spade of events already took my confidence and any happy feelings away from me u know..lost love, lost sense of direction in life, felt useless..well..i got the job..=) i guess that did boost my confidence a tiny bit..gg to sign letter of appoinment next wednesday and orientation for new staffs starts on the 6th august. I really do think that my future aint gonna be sitting in the lightless room in themusic school teaching and coaxing kids to be good, smiling at parents who think they own the school just because they pay school fees. I love teaching,..but i prefer quality teaching..not mass teaching..im pretty burnt out. I darent say tt i will not go back to teaching in the future but im definately going to give this new job a try..and upgrade myself by gg for degree rlelated hospitality courses if i really do like this job. Okay, im a chameleon..but tts what i am..if i stick to something tt i dont like..i think i'll rather die..yup. I still harbour hopes of finding something i'll really like to do. So hopefully thats it.

Next major thing..i sent in my pictures to apply for model/events/roadshow jobs and landed myself in one.. i still cant believe it..because..the girls there are really gorgeous, street-wise, clubbing kind of girls..those that guys will prob fall over their feet to get to know them. Loud and attention grabbing with their tube tops, thick-cake like foundations, i felt like a sore thumb sticking out can. I still dont understand y the events guy shortlisted me cannnn. We are supposed to promote this passioncard for the pap at raffles place, chevron house, the open grass patch there. This coming Mon to Fri, every day we don different costumes, from chefs to french maids to thai/korean dancers to belly dancers, to aerobics, sporty girls. The money is what attracted me..140 bucks for 7 hrs of work, 1030 to 630 with an hour of break.5 days. Good money eh? Hopefully i will be able to mix, not tt well..but well enough to get me thru the days. I must be more san ba can, more talkative, think faster, and not give a blank stare everytime. I find tt i already detest and hate this trait in me. i hate it. hate it. In the briefing that the pap marketing manager gave, the girls who apprently are models and know each other were chatting cherrily and san-ba-ing around..and i found myself missing that certain someone terribly.Sigh. hopeless. Such a useless girl.

Min Jiang Kueh! My pan was too small, resulting in very thick kuehs. ha ha. But i had fun doing these! It tastes like Mr Bean's min jiang kueh.

Yummy treats + an ang bao!! from my student because I designed her track and field tee for her school! The strawberry caramel corn rocks i swear. It tastes like Strawberry pocky but in corn cracker form. hehe. Going to get more of these soon from Isetan.

Went to town today with cousin and tml. Been a long time since we went out together, especially since all of us are busy with bfs, our own lifes blah. Had fun reminiscising abt old times and Jing got her lovely peeptoes. I also wanted to get de, but sadly, peeptoes doesn look nice on me as i have long toes, so the "drains" were like visible and not covered by the head of the shoe if u get what i mean. After dinner at the shui jiao eatery at the top level of fep, we headed down and took neoprints! Been nine years since we last took together i think. Whoa. 9 yrs eh. Time really flies man. K la. Im tired. Should be going off to sleep le. Cant wait for mango sales to begin. Lets go together k tml jing ang yunru. They say that its on the 20th or 21st june which is next week!! I want my white skinnies!!

I wanted to cut hebe's hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, after reading raves about Maison Hairmake at FEP, #05-45, I went there for a haircut. Booked Winnie as my stylist as i heard of raves about her styling. =) Was very satisfied with the end result! I showed her Hebe's haircut, which she identified to be a bob. Longer at the front and shorter at the back.Sort of a sloping bob. It didnt turn out to look like Hebe's as i requested for her to cut the behind muccch shorter.

And its cheaper than Gorgeous! And quite comparable too. I shall visit here more often as I pretty much need to spend less now. Be prepared to sit there for at least 1.5-2 hrs for a cut and wash as they are super detailed in cutting ur hair. Which makes it all the while worth it. Dear did his cut there too and it really looks much better. I lovvve short hair on guys. Hee.

Deardear's bdae in Hanabi

Went to Hanabi at Bukit Timah Crown Centre to celebrate Dear's bdae. =)
Food in Hanabi is yummy! Especially the potato salad, sashimi and curry katsu rice. hehe. Grilled fish oso not bad. Picspicspics.

This is the mixed sashimi platter. There are 7 kinds of raw fish/squid/octopus inside. Maguro, yellow tail, sashimi, two other kinds of fish i forgot, boiled octopus and raw squid. The sashimi is really fresh and shiok with wasabi. Thumbs up!

Kimchi with beansprouts. V nice oso with just the right amount of spiciness and sour kimchi paste. Beansprouts doesnt have the raw taste, well marinated and blends into e kimchi.

I love this! The katsu is well fried with lean pork without the usual greasiness. The curry is thick and fragrant and the texture of the sushi rice is really nice, u can feel each grain in ur mouth as u chew, well separated and not sticky/mushy at all.

This is called sakura sushi. I wished tt we could order in smaller amts though, too filling for just 2 of us. But its nice, the sushi doesnt come aprt when u grip it with ur chopsticks and its qq when u bite into it. The pink fish floss round the rice adds a sweetness to the rice with crabmeat cucumber and mayo inside the rolls. Thumbs up for this too!

The raved potato salad, its cold, so order it before the main dishes if you guys go ok as an appetizer, silly me ordered it in my last round.=X Mashed to perfection with carrots hidden inside. Heh. And thats beef yakinuku with onions in sweet teriyaki sauce. Nice too. Its like those yoshinoya kind of thin sliced beef.

Tofu in teriyaki sauce. Hmm, dont really like this, prefer the one in sakae, maybe im not used to its texture, its sort of chewy, it doesnt break apart easily and its sort of gooey, esp its outer crust tt wraps around the tofu. Unique texture though!

Other stuffs include mixed tempura prawns, veggies, grilled fish(must try), kimchi octopus and beef, chawanmushi(got cheese version but din try). Out of 100+ items we managed to order only 15 kinds before we surrendered. Heh. Saw some students ordering the fried garlic rice and soba, the soba is served in a really pretty tray! Omg, it looks good. I will try that next time i visit.

Hmm, deardear took me to a Hello Kitty musical in downtown east. Its a really cute musical with sanrio characters like badbadz maru, the monkey with two pink circles on the cheeks, and hello kitty!! Very heartwarming with the kids around us. think we are the only oddballs amidst hundreds of kids with their parents carrying them.

hmm, its been a long time since i really wrote anything here hor? =D Quite alot happened in this month. heehee. Someone's been accompanying me thru the days, no matter how tired, boring, happy life is, and its been giving me a fuzzy warm feeling all over. Yep, hes from the same design course as me in NYP, a good navigator, scriptor.. workaholic! Still discovering morree. Yea dear! =) Love yaaa.

Its back to school for me, hmm, i hope to put in more hours of practice into my violin playing as my new yr resolution. Am working towards that by making time for at least 3 hrs of practice everyday.
